Start your Common Application Today!

The Common Application (also known as the Common App) is an online application accepted by more than 810 colleges and universities worldwide. Using this application allows those applying to college to complete only one online application, yet have the ability to electronically send this one application to any participating college. The Common App eliminates completing multiple applications, while allowing users to manage application deadlines and track the status of submitting an application.

If you are not sure a college or university you are applying to accepts the Common App, visit the “Explore Colleges” section of their website where you can determine if a particular college or university accepts this application.

Did you know the Common App essay prompts for this academic year are already available? Get a jumpstart on your application process by taking a moment to familiarize yourself with this year's essay prompts and click here to read helpful tips for writing your college essay.

We also suggest you follow the Common App on Facebook and/or Twitter for helpful tips as you navigate applying to college.

As you make your plans to head off to college, take a moment to read this recent article from NPR. Our college counselors are here to discuss financing options with you, and can help you identify possible strategies to keep your student loan debt in check. Call us today at 888.747.2382, ext. 119 to set up an appointment!
